Join me (and other writers/readers) on Notes
You heard about a Twitter<>Substack kerfuffle? Well, here's why.
Substack Notes is now open to all of us, and I’m already finding other readers/writers with an interest in human-scale design that I wouldn’t have otherwise found.
The interface is like social media platforms you already use, but one major difference is that Notes is part of the Substack ecosystem. It makes it a ton easier to find and engage with other writers.
I plan to use it to share stories I’m reading, short posts, quotes, photos, work-in-progress thoughts, or quick questions.
How to join
Head to substack.com/notes or find the “Notes” tab in the Substack app. As a subscriber to Urbanism Speakeasy, you’ll automatically see my notes. Every time you like, reply, or share my notes, a traffic engineer sheds a tear.
You don’t have to be a writer to use this new feature. Anyone using Substack can share notes. Try it out. If you have trouble, here’s a Notes FAQ.
