It’s very similar here in the U.K. in certain places. Many corners of towns are overlooked or benches are removed where there has been anti social behaviour. Very unfair on those of us who respect public street furniture.
There's so much reactionary policy instead of thinking about the core problems. "People behaved badly. How can we address that without removing places to sit?" It's a soap box of mine.
